Associate of Theology Degree Program
Prerequisite: None
The Associate of Biblical Studies Degree requires 60 credit hours.
Taking 20 courses will complete the credit hours. Each course is worth 3 credit hours.

Bachelor of Religious Education Degree Program
Prerequisite: Associate Degree is required.
The Bachelor of Religious Education Degree is composed of 120 credit hours. An Associate Degree earned will be credited toward the degree program.

Bachelor of Theology Degree Program
Prerequisite: Associate Degree is required.
The Bachelor of Theology Degree is composed of 120 total credit hours. An
Associate Degree earned will be credited toward the degree program.

Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree Program
Prerequisite: Associate Degree is required.
The Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree is composed of 120 credit hours. An
Associate Degree earned will be credited toward the degree program.

Bachelor of Ministry Degree Program
Prerequisite: Associate Degree is required.
The Bachelor of Ministry Degree is composed of 120 credit hours. An
Associate Degree earned will be credited toward the degree program.

Bachelor of Divinity Degree Program
Prerequisite: Associate Degree is required.
The Bachelor of Divinity Degree is composed of 120 credit hours. An
Associate Degree earned will be credited toward the degree program.

Bachelor of Biblical Counseling Degree Program
Prerequisite: Associate Degree is required.
The Bachelor of Biblical Counseling Degree is composed of 120 credit hours. An
Associate Degree earned will be credited toward the degree program.

Master of Theology Degree Program
Prerequisite: A Bachelor Degree is required.
The Master of Theology Degree Program requires 30 credit hours above the Bachelor Degree. Taking 10 courses above the Bachelor Degree will complete the credit hours.
No Thesis is required for the Master of Theology Degree.

Master of Biblical Studies Degree Program

Doctor of Theology Degree Program
Prerequisite: A Master Degree is required.
The Doctor of Theology Degree Program requires 30 credit hours above the Master Degree. Taking 10 courses above the Master Degree will complete the credit hours.
No Thesis is required for the Doctor of Theology Degree.

Doctor of Biblical Studies Degree Program

Doctor of Religious Education
Prerequisite: A Master Degree is required.
The Doctor of Religious Education Degree Program requires 30 credit hours above the Master Degree.Taking 10 courses above the Master Degree will complete the credit hours. No Thesis is required for the Doctor of Religious Education Degree.

Doctorate of Divinity Program
Prerequisite: A Master Degree is required. The Doctor of Divinity Degree Program requires 60 credit hours above the Master Degree. Taking 20 courses above the Master Degree will complete the credit hours. No Dissertation is required for the Doctorate of Divinity Program.

OBC Degree Programs

Faculty
The faculty of OBC is comprised of dedicated individuals who are deeply committed to Christ. They are academically qualified and have deep interest in the proclamation of God's Word.

Credit Transfer
Credit earned at other Biblical schools in Theology or a related field will be accepted toward fulfilling the degree requirements. Copies of degree and transcript are required for evaluation purposes.

Graduation Honors
All credit hours with a passing grade are awarded points based on the level achieved. Honors are determined by the student's cumulative grade point average earned at OBC.

3.95-4.00 - "Summa Cum Laude"
3.75-3.94 - "Magna Cum Laude"
3.50-3.74 - "Cum Laude"

Note: Graduation honors will be noted on the official transcript. There is no on campus graduation. Upon completion of a degree program, the student will receive a degree and a transcript.

Grading System
Oval Bible College issues grades on a 4.0 system. Students must acheive a Quality Point Average of 2.0 or better in order to graduate from any of our programs.
